Drones attacked various regions of Russia: Azot plant in Nevinnomyssk came under attack

On the night of July 25, the territory of Russia was attacked by drones – explosions were heard in the Rostov region, Stavropol Territory, North Ossetia and other regions of the North Caucasus Federal District. In Nevinnomyssk, the “Azot” plant came under attack, rosZMI reports.

According to local residents, numerous explosions were heard in Novocherkassk of the Rostov Region and Nevinnomyssk of the Stavropol Territory. It is reported that one of the targets of the attack was Nevinnomyssky Azot, a large chemical company that produces ammonia and nitrogen fertilizers and is part of the EuroChem group.

Nevinnomyssk Mayor Minenkov said:

“I am on the spot. We are monitoring the situation. I ask everyone not to panic and not to spread rumors. 37 arrivals, no losses, no destruction in the city.”

At the same time, he “persistently asked” citizens not to distribute photos and videos from the scene of the events.

Due to the situation, the airports in Vladikavkaz, Grozny, Mineralnye Vody, Nalchik, Stavropol, Tambov and Sochi were closed for some time.

In the morning, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced that air defense systems allegedly destroyed 105 Ukrainian drones overnight. According to their data, 26 drones were shot down over the Belgorod Region, 25 over the Bryansk Region, 23 over the Rostov Region, 8 over the Krasnodar Territory, 5 over the Stavropol Territory, 3 each over the Kursk and Tambov Regions, 2 over the Voronezh Region and 1 over the Oryol Region, another 9 over the Sea of Azov.
