During a live broadcast on TikTok, a famous Quran burner was shot dead

In Sweden, unknown persons shot and killed Salvan Momika, who had repeatedly held Koran-burning actions. At the time of the attack, the Iraqi refugee was broadcasting live on TikTok, informs AFP.
His body was discovered the night before in a house in the suburbs of Stockholm. Police confirmed that the man died of gunshot wounds. On January 30, the Stockholm court was supposed to rule on charges against Momika of inciting ethnic enmity. However, the case was postponed due to his death.
Previously, Momika repeatedly held public actions to burn the Koran, which caused a wave of protests among Muslims around the world. In Iraq, a reward of two million dollars was even announced for his murder.
We will remind that the Swedish court has already issued a decision in similar cases. Thus, the Danish-Swedish activist Rasmus Paludan was sentenced to four months in prison for the Koran-burning actions in Malmö, finding him guilty of inciting hatred.
