As a result of full-scale Russian armed aggression in Ukraine, 1,333 objects of cultural heritage and 2,185 objects of cultural infrastructure were damaged. About this informs Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications,

Damage was recorded in 18 regions and the city of Kyiv. The most objects were damaged in Kharkiv Oblast (324), Kherson Oblast (255), Donetsk Oblast (164) and Odesa Oblast (137), along with damage in Chernihiv Oblast (65), Kyiv Oblast and the city of Kyiv (83), Lviv Oblast (60). , Zaporizhia (58), Dnipropetrovsk (49), Mykolaiv (46), Sumy (33), Luhansk (32), Khmelnitsky (10), Poltava (6), Vinnytsia and Zhytomyr (4 each), Kirovohrad (2) and Cherkasy (1).

Out of 2,185 objects of cultural infrastructure, 409 were completely destroyed, which is 18.7% of the total. The greatest damages among infrastructure objects are observed in Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhia and Sumy regions.

Among the damaged objects of cultural infrastructure, the largest group is club institutions, which make up 48.3% of all damaged cultural institutions. In total, 1,056 clubs, 784 libraries, 166 art education institutions, 120 museums and galleries, 39 theaters, cinemas and philharmonic halls, 7 nature reserves, 9 parks and zoos and 4 circuses were damaged.
