During the war, the family of People’s Deputy Galushka bought a fleet worth almost 200,000 dollars (video)

Investigation hromadske “Appetites of People’s Deputy Halushka” found out that the father and mother of People’s Deputy Mykola Halushka (“Servant of the People”) purchased 6 cars and a motorcycle after the start of the full-scale invasion. Despite the fact that the deputy uses his parents’ transport, only one of his father’s cars is listed in his declaration.

Mykola Galushko, a majority member from Brovary, did not show much activity during his 5 years of working in the Verkhovna Rada, submitting only one draft law and rarely speaking. After the start of the war, he was among the top ten absentees among people’s deputies.

After the start of hostilities on the territory of Ukraine, the deputy’s father expanded his car fleet:

  • In the summer of 2022, Leonida Galushka registered a 2021 LEXUS NX 300, valued at approximately $40,000.
  • In November of the same year, he purchased a 2008 MERCEDES-BENZ S 500, which, according to the recent declaration of People’s Deputy Galushka, is listed as his only vehicle, and cost approximately 12-13 thousand dollars.
  • On the first day of winter 2022, Leonid Mykolayovych bought a brand new VOLVO XC90 for over $55,000.
  • In the summer of 2023, Galushko Sr. expanded his garage with more than $10,000 worth of cars.
  • In November 2023, the deputy’s father became the owner of a SUZUKI HAYABUSA motorcycle, which cost him another 10-12 thousand dollars.

Also, the mother of a retired deputy bought herself a Zeekr electric car worth more than 50 thousand dollars.

The deputy’s mother confirmed that her son was using her car, but explained that she could not declare it because she was only giving him the car for one day.
