“The Third World War has already begun”: Valery Zaluzhnyi’s statement shook the world
In today’s world, talk about the beginning of the Third World War no longer seems far-fetched or fantastic. Global political tensions, military conflicts and the participation of major geopolitical players in them create the impression that the world is on the threshold of a new stage of global confrontation. More and more often in political forums, in the media and among experts, the opinion is heard that the current escalation in Ukraine, in which not only Russia, but also other countries are increasingly involved, may turn into a multilateral global conflict.
Ukraine, which was at the center of this confrontation, became a kind of “battlefield” not only for its independence, but also for the world order. The opinion that we are already witnessing the beginning of the Third World War finds more and more confirmation in political and military circles.
Valery Zaluzhnyi, the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the current ambassador of Ukraine to Great Britain, called the events of 2024 “the beginning of the Third World War.”
Speaking at the UP-100 award ceremony, Zaluzhnyi directly named events of 2024 with the beginning of the Third World War, emphasizing that Ukraine is on the front line of this global battle.
“In my opinion, we can absolutely believe that the Third World War began in 2024. Because in 2024, not only Russia is standing before Ukraine. Soldiers from North Korea are standing before Ukraine.”, he declared.
Valery Zaluzhnyi drew attention to the fact that the Russian-Ukrainian war has turned into a multilateral conflict in which various states and even unofficial players participate. He noted:
“Let’s be honest. Already in Ukraine, the Iranian Shaheds are killing civilians absolutely openly, without any shame. Missiles of North Korean production are already flying into Ukraine, and they are openly declaring this. Chinese projectiles are being blown up in Ukraine, Chinese parts are used in Russian missiles “.
According to Zaluzhnyi, these facts indicate the beginning of a global conflict that cannot be ignored. He urged world leaders to act decisively while there is still a chance to stop the escalation:
“What has been waiting for so long has already begun. But I want to say that God himself is giving a chance, not only to Ukraine, but also to the whole world, so that we still have time to draw the right conclusions.
You can still stop here, on the territory of Ukraine. But for some reason our partners do not want to understand this. It is obvious that Ukraine already has too many enemies. Ukraine will survive thanks to technology, but it is not known whether it will be able to win this battle on its own.
Therefore, I believe that the world war, welcome – it has begun.”
Valery Zaluzhnyi’s statement caused a significant resonance and lively discussions both in Ukrainian society and beyond. Someone considers it an exaggeration, someone – an alarm signal that does not allow you to postpone decisive actions any longer. One thing is clear: the current conflict has reached such a scale that its consequences affect the whole world. In the light of these events, questions not only about the fate of Ukraine, but also about the future of global peace are becoming more relevant than ever.
