Durov announced the start of a partnership between Telegram and Mask’s xAI company

Messenger Telegram has entered into a one-year partnership agreement with xAI, a company founded by Elon Musk. Within the scope of cooperation, the Grok chatbot, which was created by the xAI company based on artificial intelligence technology, will be integrated into the messenger. About this reported Telegram founder Pavlo Durov.
“This summer, Telegram users will have access to the best AI technology on the market. Elon Musk and I have agreed to a one-year partnership to bring xAI’s Grok chatbot to our billion users and integrate it into all Telegram apps.”– Durov said.
He also noted that as part of the deal, Telegram will receive $300 million in cash and stock from xAI, as well as 50% of revenue from subscriptions to xAI products purchased through the messenger platform.
All Telegram users will be able to use Grok’s fact-checking functions, text editing, chat compression, and the integration of a neural network into the search system. Telegram user data will not be used to train xAI models.
As a reminder, the Grok chatbot appeared in Telegram at the end of March. As Elon Musk stated, access to it will be free for users with premium Telegram accounts.
