Families of prisoners and missing persons will receive notifications in “Action”

The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine announced the launch of a new function in the Diya mobile application, which will allow the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War to send push notifications to the families of missing persons, military and civilian prisoners.
About this informs Minsifra
Previously, relatives received information about their loved ones through SMS messages, which made them vulnerable to fraudulent schemes. The new feature in Diya will increase the security and reliability of communication between the Coordination Headquarters and families.
How does it work?
- Relatives of a missing person submit an application through a personal account on the website of the Coordination Headquarters.
- After confirming the application and updating the information about the status of the case, relevant notifications will be sent to Diya.
- Relatives will receive notification of confirmation of application, addition of new information, release from captivity or confirmation of captivity (if the person was previously considered missing).
Conditions for receiving notifications:
- Authorization in Action.
- Verified taxpayer card.
- The application was submitted through the Personal Office of the Coordination Headquarters.
- The new service was implemented by the Ministry of Digital in cooperation with the Coordination Headquarters with the support of the “Action Support Project”, which is financed by Sweden and implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Ukraine.
