Five people killed, several injured in shelling in Kharkiv region

On July 29, as a result of Russian shelling of the village of Novoplatonivka, which is part of the Boriv community of the Kharkiv region, five people were killed and three more were injured. About this informs Main Department of the National Police in the Kharkiv region
The tragedy happened around 10:38 in the morning. The enemy probably used a rocket salvo fire system (RSSV).
“As a result of an enemy attack, a local store caught fire. The area of the fire is currently being determined. According to preliminary data, five civilians were killed as a result of the shelling, and three more were injured of varying degrees of severity.” – says the message.
An investigative team, explosives experts and forensic experts arrived at the scene. The police are documenting the crime and collecting evidence for further investigation.
We will remind, at around 05:35 in the morning on July 29, two explosions rang out in the city of Izyum, Kharkiv region. As reported in the Izyum city military administration, the city became the target of an attack by Russian drones.
“Two hits were recorded as a result of an attack by enemy UAVs. Both arrivals took place on the territory of a non-working industrial enterprise”, – says the message.
According to the administration, no fires broke out as a result of the strike, and there were no victims among the population. The Izyum District Military Administration notes that as a result of the attack, several buildings on the territory of the enterprise were significantly damaged.
