Earlier it was reported that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi and his closest entourage have already agreed on the release of Kostin and his appointment as ambassador to the Netherlands.

“Kostin can become the ambassador to the Netherlands, replacing Oleksandr Karasevich, who has no wrongdoing. Kostin previously sought to take the post of ambassador in London, but the appointment of Zaluzhny there changed those plans. Now he wants to focus on the issues of the courts in The Hague.”, the message says.

It will be recalled that in October the Verkhovna Rada voted for the resignation of Andrii Kostin from the post of Prosecutor General, supporting this decision with 255 votes. Before the vote, he presented a report on his activities in office.
