From December, mobilization will be booked through Diya: Denys Shmyhal

On December 1, a new procedure for reserving employees from mobilization will come into effect in Ukraine. For those who already have a deferment, a transition period will apply until February 28, reported Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.

By this date, all businesses must renew their employee bookings according to the new terms, regardless of how and when they were made“, he added.

He noted that the Cabinet of Ministers has updated the criteria for obtaining the status of critical enterprises, as well as the requirements for reservations.

The new procedure provides for the mandatory absence of debts to the budget for enterprises, as well as a salary criterion: the average salary of both the company and reserved employees must be at least 2.5 times the minimum wage. This should reduce the risk of abuse where companies provide fictitious positions to obtain a deferral of mobilization.

From December 1, booking applications will be made through Diya, and the government will monitor enterprises every month for compliance with the criteria.

The prime minister also instructed the responsible ministries to explain in detail all aspects and logic of the updated system.

We will remind that in October the Ministry of Defense conducted an audit of critical enterprises due to a rapid increase in the number of booked persons. This was the reason for the temporary suspension of the booking function on the Diya portal.
