During the week from June 16 to 23, the price of gasoline and diesel fuel at gas stations of the largest Ukrainian networks increased by an average of 2 hryvnias per liter. The reason was the sharp rise in oil prices against the background of the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East and the corresponding increase in the price of wholesale fuel. In the specified period, wholesale prices for gasoline increased by UAH 2.31, to UAH 51.59/l, for diesel fuel – by UAH 3.67, to UAH 50.85/l. Liquefied gas rose in price less significantly in the group – by UAH 0.63, to UAH 28.69/l.
In retail, the price of A-95 gasoline increased by UAH 2.16 and reached UAH 58.44/l, diesel fuel rose by UAH 2.51 to UAH 55.56/l. Avtogaz rose in price by UAH 0.32 to UAH 34.49/l. The price increase was recorded in all networks without exception, operators of the middle and lower price segment were especially active, where in some places the increase reached UAH 4-4.50 per liter.
In particular, in the “Olas” chain, gasoline rose in price by UAH 4.50 to UAH 56.99/l. At the gas stations “Market” and RLS, the price increased by UAH 4 – to UAH 56.49 and UAH 56.90, respectively. Diesel in these networks rose in price by UAH 4-4.5, up to UAH 53.99 and 53 per liter. In UPG, diesel fuel rose in price by UAH 4.40 to UAH 55.90/l, gasoline by UAH 2.40 to UAH 58.90/l.
Premium chains, such as OKKO, WOG and SOCAR, raised the prices of gasoline and diesel by UAH 2 per liter: up to UAH 61.99 and UAH 58.99 at the first two, and up to UAH 60.66 and UAH 57.82 at SOCAR. A similar increase was recorded in the Ovis, VostokGaz and Neftek networks, where diesel fuel rose in price by UAH 3.50, UAH 2.50 and UAH 2, respectively.
The state network “Ukrnafta” also reacted to the trends of the foreign market: A-95 gasoline rose in price by UAH 1.50 to UAH 57.99/l, diesel by UAH 3.50 to UAH 54.99/l. Prices for liquefied gas remained relatively stable. An increase of UAH 1 was recorded in the VST, Ukrnafta, Avantazh 7, RLS networks, while in other networks it varies from 17 to 82 kopecks per liter.
