Germany will transfer 6000 HX-2 drones with artificial intelligence to Ukraine

On February 13, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy approved the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to ensure the availability of medicines. It provides for the introduction of discounts on basic medicines and the establishment of restrictions for pharmaceutical manufacturers. The relevant decree No. 82/2025 published on the OP’s website.

“After listening to information from a member of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine – the Minister of Health of Ukraine regarding the situation on the national market of medicines, and taking into account the need to ensure their availability for all categories of the population of Ukraine, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine decided to take note of the information regarding the intentions of the participants of the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine to reduce by 30 percent the prices of the most popular basic medicines from March 1, 2025 in order to ensure their availability to the population of Ukraine”, the decree states.

The document also provides for amendments to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, according to which supplier and sales surcharges should not exceed 10%, and trade surcharges should not exceed 35%. In addition, the government should ensure the creation of pharmacies as part of state medical institutions, where medicinal products will be sold with minimal markups.

An expansion of the list of drugs, the cost of which will be compensated through the National Health Service of Ukraine, and restrictions on advertising and marketing campaigns in the field of pharmaceuticals are also provided for.
