Hamas releases three Israeli hostages

Hamas handed over three Israeli hostages to the Red Cross in Gaza City, marking the first hostage release since the ceasefire began. About this informs CNN
Romy Gonen, Doron Steinbrecher and Emilie Damari, who had been held in Gaza since October 7, 2023, when they were abducted from Israel, were released. The handover of the hostages took place with the participation of a large crowd and dozens of masked fighters from the Al-Qassam and Al-Quds brigades.
The Israeli military confirmed that Hamas handed over three women to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). According to them, the condition of those released is satisfactory after the initial medical examination.
We will remind that on January 16, an agreement between Israel and Hamas was officially signed in Qatar on the release of hostages held in Gaza and the beginning of a ceasefire.
