How to avoid mistakes when submitting a scanned copy of the work book: PFU recommendations (video)

Scanned copies of paper work books can be submitted by both the employer and the employee.

The Pension Fund of Ukraine provided clarification on the correct submission of scanned copies of work books. An electronic work book is a modern digital analogue of a traditional paper book, which helps to avoid the risks of document loss or damage.

A service is available on the web portal of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, which allows you to submit scanned copies of paper work books and other documents confirming employment, for their digitization and conversion into electronic format. Scan copies can be submitted by both employers and employees themselves.

From the moment of entry into force of the Law of Ukraine No. 1217-IX “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding the Accounting of Labor Activities of the Employee in Electronic Form” (from June 10, 2021), employees and employers have five years to convert work books into a digital format .

Since the launch of the “Electronic work book” service in December 2019, more than 252,000 paper work books have been submitted for digitization.

In addition, the Pension Fund of Ukraine has published a video instruction that will help you download a scanned copy of the work book for conversion into electronic format.
