In Croatia, the car of the former director of “Shakhtar” was fired upon

In Croatia, unknown assailants fired at the car of the former director of FC Shakhtar Jose Bota, who currently holds a similar position at the local club Osijek.
This is reported by the publication Sports news.
The incident took place on Shamachka Street, where the car was parked near the Portuguese man’s house in Osijek. Unknown persons fired seven shots into the windshield and the driver’s seat. Bota’s colleague at the club was the first to notice the damage. Jose himself was on vacation in his homeland at that time.
Club “Osijek” expressed its support for Jose Bota and called on anyone who has any information about this incident to contact the police.
“I have full confidence in the police and their ability to thoroughly investigate this case and bring those responsible to justice. I trust that they will quickly resolve this situation and ensure the safety of all residents. Thank you again for your unwavering support. Together we will overcome this and continue to move forward with resilience and determination”, – wrote Botu.
Currently, the police is conducting an investigation, the motives of the attack are still unknown.
