In half a year, residents of “Diya.City” paid 8.4 billion hryvnias in taxes

During the first six months of this year, the participants of the special tax regime “Diya.City”, which was created to support the IT industry, contributed UAH 8.4 billion in taxes to the budget. This is almost the same amount that was collected for the entire previous year.

Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, shared this information on his Telegram channel. He noted that this space is actively developing, and more and more companies are joining it, which responsibly pay taxes to the state budget.

According to him, only in the first half of the current year, these companies paid 8.4 billion hryvnias, while for the whole of last year this figure was 8.5 billion hryvnias.

Fedorov emphasized that tax discipline is a key factor in the country’s economic stability.

Thanks to “Diya.City”, the state receives significant revenues, and businesses have favorable conditions for the development and legalization of their activities. In this tax regime, it was possible to maintain an important balance, which allows to support the economy and promote the development of the IT sector.
