A crime committed by a 57-year-old school bus driver was solved in Odesa region. For several months, the man invited 12-13-year-old students to his home under the pretext of playing cards, where he sexually assaulted them.

The police identified three victimized boys. The crime was exposed thanks to the courage of one of them, who told his mother about what had happened.
“Employees of the territorial division of the police established that during several months of 2023, enjoying the trust of students of one of Odesa’s gymnasiums, a 57-year-old school bus driver invited 12-13-year-old boys to his house allegedly to play cards with them, where he performed sexual acts with the children“, the message says.
Investigators have collected enough evidence, including the results of forensic examinations, confirming the driver’s guilt. He was charged with rape and sexual violence against minors.
The accused is currently in custody. The case was referred to the court. For what he committed, the man faces from 15 years of imprisonment to life imprisonment.
