444 Ukrainians became winners of the fourth wave of the “Own Business” program in 2025. They will receive grants for starting or developing a business in the total amount of 106 million hryvnias, informs press service of the Ministry of Economy.
Since the beginning of the year, 1,626 entrepreneurs will receive grants in the amount of 400 million hryvnias within the four waves of the program. In total, since the launch of the initiative, more than 24,000 Ukrainians have become its participants, who will receive financing for 5.8 billion hryvnias.
“Since the beginning of this year, we already have more than 1,600 winners of the “Own Business” program, who will receive UAH 400 million from the state to start or develop their business. Every third of them received a grant to start a business, others plan to use the grant funds to scale up their activities, increase production volumes, develop new directions, conquer new markets”, — noted the First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliya Svyridenko. Among the winners of the fourth wave, 57% are women, 35% are men, another 8% are legal entities. More than 70% have higher education. The largest number of grant recipients is in Lviv (57), Ivano-Frankivsk (43), Kharkiv (39), Kyiv (38) and Rivne (31) regions. The vast majority plans to use the funds to purchase business equipment.
We will remind you that the government has expanded the possibilities of the “Own Business” program to support more Ukrainians in opening or expanding their own business. From now on, grants are available, in particular, for wine producers, and the list of participating banks has also been expanded.
