In the Serbian parliament, the opposition staged a fight and a fire, there are wounded (video)

A fight broke out in the Serbian parliament between the deputies of the ruling party and the opposition. Politicians threw smoke bombs and eggs at each other, as a result of which three deputies were injured. About this informs DW.
The incident happened about an hour after the start of the meeting, which was supposed to consider the draft law on increasing the financing of higher education. However, the opposition accused the majority of intending to illegally adopt dozens of other decisions without first confirming the resignation of Prime Minister Milos Vucevic and his government.
During the conflict, oppositionists tried to break through to the tribune, blew whistles, held up placards with the inscription “Serbia rose up so that the regime will fall!” and an image of a bloody palm. Later, they started fighting opponents, throwing eggs, water bottles and setting fire to smoke bombs. After that, a fight broke out between them and representatives of the ruling party, during which three deputies were injured.
The speaker of the parliament, Ana Brnabić, called the opposition a “terrorist gang” and reported that one of the victims was in a serious condition. According to her, deputy Yasmina Obradovych, who was injured by an electric shock bomb, suffered a stroke. Deputies Jasmina Karanats and Sonia Ilich, who is eight months pregnant, were also injured.
At the same time, hundreds of opposition supporters gathered for a protest near the parliament building. The conflict occurred against the background of mass protests and consideration of the agenda, which included about 50 items, mostly related to amendments to the education law.
