In Ukraine, access to information about debtors in bankruptcy cases is open

From September 6, 2024, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine will introduce a new mechanism for accessing information about debtors in bankruptcy cases. From now on, the specialized page of the Unified Register of Debtors will be available information regarding persons in respect of whom bankruptcy (insolvency) proceedings have been opened.
Users can easily obtain an information certificate about the subject’s stay in the bankruptcy procedure through an electronic request on a special page called “Information certificate in bankruptcy cases”. This service will enable each user not only to view current data, but also to save and print informational reports.
From September 6, information from the Unified Register of Debtors will be provided exclusively in electronic format. Receiving data on debtors through requests to the Ministry of Justice or its interregional offices is terminated, except for certain cases provided by law.
The automated system generates an informational reference in real time on the day of submission of the request, provided there are no technical problems. Each certificate contains a QR code to confirm the authenticity of the document.
This service is available free of charge, and the information provided in the help is current at the time of its creation. Access to information is possible only after authentication and authorization of the user on the web portal of electronic services for bankruptcy.
