The Ministry of Defense initiates the update of technical requirements for body armor and berets

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the priority review and development of technical specifications for certain categories of rear property that have a high priority. • Special summer suit: a light and comfortable suit designed for comfortable use in the warm season, providing effective ventilation and protection.
• Body armor is modular with elements of positive buoyancy: an advanced bulletproof vest that not only provides protection, but also has the ability to hold water at the surface, which is critical in water operations.
• High-top winter boots: winter boots that provide reliable protection and thermal insulation in cold conditions, with high tops for additional ankle support.
• Body armor is lightweight: light body armor that provides the necessary level of protection, reducing the load on the serviceman.
• Cotton and mixed fabrics: quality fabrics for the manufacture of a variety of clothing and equipment, providing comfort and durability.
• Individual masking kit: a personal camouflage kit that helps military personnel remain inconspicuous on the battlefield.
• Headphones are special: protective headphones that provide hearing protection during combat and training, as well as improve communication.
• Fireproof gloves: gloves that provide protection against high temperatures and fire, while maintaining tactile sensitivity and ease of use.

The Ministry of Defense calls on manufacturers and suppliers interested in the production of the specified tangible property for the Armed Forces to contact the Main Directorate for the Development of Material Support of the Ministry of Defense for further cooperation.
