In Ukraine, almost a million people are already booked from mobilization: the Ministry of Defense
Deputy Minister Ivan Gavryliuk noted that the mobilization does not fully meet the needs of the army, as it takes 3 to 6 months for the mobilized to become combat-ready.

Today, about 930,000 conscripted Ukrainians are booked from mobilization, and within a week this number will exceed 1 million. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Defense Ivan Gavrylyuk during the round table “Legislative approaches to the reservation of employees of enterprises” on August 19. transmits Forbes Ukraine.
The Deputy Minister of Defense noted that mobilization does not fully satisfy the needs of the army, as a mobilized person becomes combat-ready only after 3-6 months. Gavryliuk emphasized that for the effective defense of the state, it is necessary for some to fight and others to work for defense. He also emphasized that the country’s economy should be transferred to military lines, but today only a small number of enterprises work in three shifts.
Gavrylyuk also drew attention to the fact that support from international partners is not increasing and probably will not increase. At the same time, Russia is not reducing its presence in the occupied territories of Ukraine: at the beginning of the year, the Russian group numbered 440,000 people, now it is about 600,000, and by the end of the year it is expected to grow to 800,000 people.
According to the Law “On Mobilization Training and Mobilization”, military conscripts who work at enterprises, institutions and organizations that are of critical importance for the functioning of the economy and ensuring the livelihood of the population in a special period are subject to reservation. The reservation procedure during martial law stipulates that the number of conscripts subject to reservation should be 50% of the total number of conscripts at the enterprise, institution or organization.
At this time, only employees of enterprises critically important for the economy can get a reservation. For this, companies must meet three of the seven criteria defined by Cabinet Resolution No. 76.
