In Ukraine, for the third month in a row, the duration of air raids during the operation of shopping centers has been reduced

In Ukraine, for the third month in a row, there has been a decrease in the duration of air alarms during the hours of operation of shopping centers (shopping centers). About this reported in the press service of the Ukrainian Council of Shopping Centers (URTC).
For three months in a row, the share of time when air alarms sound during shopping mall hours has decreased. In April 2025, this indicator was 10.5%, which is lower than the March result (11%) and less compared to April 2024 (10.8%).
The largest number of interruptions in the work of shopping centers due to air alarms, as before, are noted in five regions: Donetsk region (59.9%), Sumy (53.3%), Dnipropetrovsk (24.3%), Kharkiv (23.2%) and Zaporizhzhya (20.8%).
On average, shopping malls have been idled by air raids for 109 business days since the start of a full-scale invasion, on average across the country. In April 2025, this figure was 2.9 working days. From February 24, 2022, the URTC regularly publishes an interactive map with data on the duration of air alarms in various regions of Ukraine. The map is updated monthly.
The Ukrainian Council of Shopping Centers was founded in 2020 as a non-profit organization that unites the main players of the commercial real estate market – developers, owners of shopping centers, as well as companies specializing in their construction and maintenance.
