In Ukraine, the cost of issuing passports has increased since January 1

From January 1, 2025, the cost of issuing passports in Ukraine has increased due to an increase in the prices of forms for individual documents. About this reported State Migration Service of Ukraine.

The department noted that the price increase concerns the production of a passport of a citizen of Ukraine in the form of an ID card, a foreign passport, as well as temporary and permanent residence permits.

ID card:

  • The first registration of a passport of a citizen of Ukraine in the form of an ID card remains free.
  • Production up to 20 working days – 558 hryvnias.
  • Production up to 10 working days – 928 hryvnias.

Foreign passport:

  • Up to 20 working days – 1042 hryvnias.
  • Up to 7 working days – 1,682 hryvnias.

Residence permits:

  • Permanent residence – 1175 hryvnias.
  • Temporary accommodation – 1080 hryvnias.

At the same time, citizens who paid for administrative services and submitted an application for processing documents by December 31, 2024, will receive documents at the old prices. And those who have paid for services before this date, but have not yet submitted an application, will be able to pay extra according to the new tariffs in effect at the time of submission.
