In Ukraine, the development of more than 30 projects for the launch of wind generation is underway

In total, more than 30 projects for the launch of new wind generation are being developed in Ukraine, which are currently at various stages of readiness.
About this reported Acting director of SE “Guaranteed buyer” Artem Nekrasov.
According to him, Ukrainian, Turkish and German companies participate in the projects. Estimated launch dates for some of them are 2025 and 2027. Most of the projects were started even before the start of the full-scale war, but new ones are also appearing.
“Ukrainian companies, taking into account the situation in the energy sector, began to invest in their own installations from renewable energy sources. For example, we see such projects of retail chains – “Silpo”, “Epicentr”, “Novus” – which have already installed solar panels on the roofs of their supermarkets, etc“, – he said.
Answering a question about how Ukraine is currently supported by international partners in initiatives to provide infrastructure for solar generation, Nekrasov assured that partners are helping Ukraine constantly.

We will remind that DTEK WDE recently received technical conditions for connecting 650 MW of capacity to the energy system of Ukraine and plans to start construction of the Poltava wind farm in 2027. The German company Notus Energy is also implementing a 300 MW wind farm project in the Odesa region.
