Certification will be expanded: in 2025, teachers of another subject will be added to the programme

In 2025, English will be added to the list of subjects subject to pedagogical certification.

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has published a corresponding order defining the categories of teachers who will be able to take part in the certification and setting the maximum number of participants.

Teachers who teach English will be the first to be certified. In 2025, the certification will be open to 1,500 primary school teachers, as well as 1,000 teachers of Ukrainian language and literature, mathematics, history and civics. In addition, 500 English teachers will be able to join.

Registration for participation will last from 23 December 2024 to 9 January 2025 and will take place in two stages. In the first stage, from 23 December to 6 January, teachers will register within the quotas for each region. In the second stage, from 7 to 9 January, registration will be open to all interested teachers within the total quota for each subject, if it was not fully used during the first stage.
