Iran executes three men accused of spying for Israel

In Iran, three men were executed, who were accused of collaborating with the Israeli intelligence “Mossad”. About this informs Reuters.
Idris Ali, Azad Shojai and Rasul Ahmad Rasul were executed. They were also smuggled equipment said to have been used in the killing of an unnamed person. Details of the murder itself have not been released.
“They were arrested and tried for collaboration in favor of the Zionist regime. The sentence was carried out this morning, they were hanged”, says the message.
In total, since the start of Israeli shelling on June 13, Iranian authorities have arrested more than 700 people suspected of ties to Israel.
As a reminder, in 2024, at least 975 executions were recorded in Iran — this is the highest figure since 2015. The number of executed women also increased significantly: at least 31, compared to 22 in 2023. Of these, 19 were executed for murder, including nine for killing men in the context of domestic violence, forced or child marriage. At least 31 people, including political opponents of the regime, were executed on charges related to state security, including spying for Israel.
