“Is this photo about Ukrainian officials? Actually, no. This photo is about an average Ukrainian”: expert on the exposure of the head of Khmelnytsky MSEC

The exposure of the bribery of the head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Center for Medical and Social Expertise Tetyana Krupa and the publication of a scandalous photo of her husband in bed with a pile of dollars caused a wave of indignation among Ukrainians. This became another confirmation of how deeply rooted corruption is in Ukrainian society. Some analysts and public figures use this case for a broader discussion about the moral state of society. Investment banker, financial expert, publicist, radio and TV presenter Serhii Fursa called this photo a mirror in which the whole country is reflected.

It is not only about officials, but about ordinary citizens who, according to him, themselves support corruption schemes, bringing money in exchange for “services”. This approach to solving problems has become common for many, and this, according to the expert, is one of the main diseases of Ukrainian society that requires diagnosis before treatment.

The scandalous photo of the official’s son (although the official’s husband was in the photo) with a pile of dollars is a mirror that reflects the country, believes Serhiy Fursa.

First of all, this pie is the dream of an average Ukrainian. Not a hero in war or a fighter for justice. And an ordinary simple Ukrainian who would dream of holding such a position. And quickly get fabulously rich. So fast and so fabulous, so that later you don’t know what to do with this loot.

And secondly, this is not a law enforcement officer who milks the business. This is not about taxes being stolen. No, no. It’s about service. The best Ukrainian service, which we are so proud of.

Because mother Kr**a and her pie son provided services to ordinary Ukrainians. Those who do not want to serve in the army because they steal. To those who shout about the children of deputies. And these ordinary Ukrainians brought their dollars. They brought it themselves. To get a fake reference. And judging by the number of dollars on the bed, they brought thousands of people. Who later over a beer will tell how terrible corruption is in the country and how you can’t live and don’t have to pay taxes, because they will steal everything.

This is not about officials. This is a photo mirror. Where the country is reflected. Yes, not all Ukrainians are like that. And that is why Putin has not taken over Ukraine and will never take over. But this is the average temperature in the room. The simplest people who are in poverty and oppose high tariffs, do not want to pay taxes and work officially.
Sometimes it helps to look in the mirror.
