Israel transferred Patriot systems to Ukraine

Ambassador of Israel to Ukraine Michael Brodsky reportedthat Israel was actually transferring weapons to Ukraine. In particular, we are talking about Patriot anti-aircraft systems, which were previously in service with the Israeli army.

“Patriot systems, which we once received from the United States, are now in Ukraine. These are Israeli systems that were in service with Israel in the early 90s. We agreed to transfer them to Ukraine. And, unfortunately, not much was said about this. But when they say that Israel did not help in From a military point of view, this is not true.”, – noted Brodsky.

The ambassador stressed that he always strived for an open dialogue with his colleagues regarding Ukraine, although, according to him, he was repeatedly criticized in Israel for excessive favoritism towards Ukrainians. Mikhail Brodsky expressed hope that peace will be achieved before the end of his diplomatic mission in Ukraine.

We will remind you that in June 2024, the USA, Israel and Ukraine held negotiations on the supply of eight Patriot anti-aircraft systems to Kyiv, which could significantly increase the ability of the Armed Forces to counter Russian airstrikes. In January 2025, the United States sent about 90 missiles to Patriot systems from warehouses in Israel to Poland, from where they were planned to be delivered to Ukraine.
