NSDC Secretary Lytvynenko will be responsible for Ukraine’s internal Strengthening Plan
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi on October 24 announced on the appointment of Oleksandr Lytvynenko, Secretary of the National Security Council, to be responsible for the preparation of key parts of the Internal Strengthening Plan of Ukraine. It became known after the meeting of the Headquarters of the Commander-in-Chief, which took place on the same day.
According to Zelenskyi’s order, all members of the Headquarters will participate in the development of this Plan, but Lytvynenko will be responsible for coordinating the work and ensuring its implementation. The President emphasized that, in parallel with the Victory Plan, it is necessary to work on specific steps that will strengthen the internal potential of the state.
According to Zelenskyi, the internal Plan for the strengthening of Ukraine will cover such important areas as:
- support on the front line;
- defense industrial complex;
- economic and financial development;
- information policy;
- ensuring justice;
- regional development and other strategic directions.
During the meeting, representatives of the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, the Ministry of Energy, the Air Force of the Armed Forces, and the Ministry of Defense reported on readiness for the winter period, provision of border and frontline communities, as well as on the equipment and training of military brigades.
Earlier, a source in the President’s Office reported that Zelenskyi gave instructions to develop an internal victory plan aimed at solving urgent internal tasks. It is important that this plan does not replace the main Victory Plan aimed at interaction with international partners.
In addition, at the third Parliamentary Summit of the Crimean Platform, Zelenskyi said that after the implementation of the Victory Plan, Ukraine will be ready to involve the Russian Federation in a peace summit, at which the world community will see the implemented peace formula.
