J.D. Vance booed during a concert at the Kennedy Center (video)

US Vice President James David Vance was greeted with loud boos during a concert at the Kennedy Center in Washington when he and his wife Ushera Vance arrived at the venue. About this informs The Washington Post.
Vice President Vance and his wife attended a performance by the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center. As the pair took their seats in the packed concert hall, the audience responded with a chorus of boos that lasted more than 30 seconds.
The incident took place amid protests against the actions of US President Donald Trump, who tried to reform the Kennedy Center by appointing a new board of trustees. Usha Vance, who is a member of this board, also served on the board of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Following Trump’s actions, several performances at the Kennedy Center were canceled, including the popular musical “Hamilton” and a performance by actress Issa Rae, who called the actions a threat to the institution’s values.
The concert, scheduled for the evening of March 13, was delayed for 30 minutes due to queues formed at the entrance due to increased security measures before the arrival of the vice president.
