July 10: holidays and events on this day

July 10 is World Energy Independence Day, Nieces and Nephews Day, Football Whistle Birthday and Nikola Tesla Day.
World Energy Independence Day
This day is dedicated to raising awareness about alternative and sustainable energy sources. It provides an opportunity to learn more about renewable energy sources such as wind, solar and geothermal energy. The holiday also aims to encourage governments, organizations and individual users to invest in clean energy.
The use of renewable energy sources helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions, reduce dependence on fossil fuels, and reduce the impact of climate change. It also contributes to the creation of new jobs in the field of green energy. Many countries have already taken significant steps towards energy independence. For example, Iceland provides almost all of its energy needs through hydro and geothermal energy.
In recent years, new technologies have appeared that allow more efficient use of renewable energy sources. For example, the development of battery energy storage systems makes it possible to store excess energy produced by solar and wind installations for use during periods of high demand.
Renewable energy is an important component of the sustainable development strategy of many countries. Investments in these technologies contribute to the long-term stability of the energy sector and can help reduce the risks associated with fluctuating fossil fuel prices.
There are many international initiatives and organizations working to popularize renewable energy. For example, the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) supports countries in implementing green energy policies and projects.
Day of nieces and nephews
Every year on July 10, an unofficial family holiday is celebrated – the Day of Nieces and Nephews, which was started by a Facebook user in 2010. On this day, special attention is paid to strengthening family ties and maintaining warm relations between nephews and nieces with their uncles, aunts and other relatives. Celebrations include family gatherings, various games and activities, gift-giving and other expressions of attention that fill this day with joy and respect for the younger generation. The main goal is to create an atmosphere of fun and give positive emotions to others. In different countries, this day is celebrated at different times, but it is always a moment when children receive special attention and care from their older relatives. This is a great opportunity for the whole family to spend time together.
Never Tesla Day
July 10, 1856 Nikola Tesla, an outstanding Serbian physicist, engineer, inventor and rationalizer, was born in His numerous inventions in the field of electricity and electrical engineering made a significant contribution to the development of these sciences. Nikola Tesla Day is held under the auspices of the United Nations. The unit of magnetic induction is named after him.
