Keith Kellogg arrived in Kyiv on a three-day visit

On February 19, Keith Kellogg, the special representative of the US President for Ukraine and Russia arrived to Kyiv for a three-day visit.

He was met at the station by Bridget Brink, the US ambassador to Ukraine. Commenting on his visit, Kellogg noted that “this is a chance to conduct good potential negotiations.”

“We will listen. We are ready to provide what is necessary. We understand the need for security guarantees. Part of my mission is to listen. Then I will come back to the United States, talk to President Trump. To make sure that we understand everything correctly.” Kellogg noted.

He also expressed his conviction that “the war would not have started if Trump had been president at the time.”

“He understands that people are suffering, he understands the destruction. And we want this to end.” Kellogg added.
