The special representative of the President of the USA, Keith Kellogg, visited the training and training grounds of the National Guard of Ukraine, where he got acquainted with the level of training of Ukrainian guardsmen and their equipment. General Kellogg was shown samples of armored fighting vehicles, infantry fighting vehicles, self-propelled anti-aircraft guns and mortars that provide mobility, protection of troops, fire support for infantry units and cover from air strikes.
“Together with the commander of the NGU Oleksandr Pivnenko, the American delegation got acquainted with the training of Ukrainian guardsmen, their equipment and modern technologies used on the battlefield. The delegations presented the training of tank and combat vehicle crews, work on simulators, as well as drones and robotic complexes.”, the message says.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that General Kellogg highly appreciated the courage of the Ukrainian military and the level of their combat training. He also emphasized that Ukrainian experience is important for the armed forces of other countries.
“We are grateful to the United States for the constant assistance that enables our units to effectively defend the country. Ukraine defends its independence and freedom. Together with our partners, we continue to develop our defense capabilities.”, – noted the commander of NSU Oleksandr Pivnenko.
