Klitschko dismissed officials involved in corruption investigation

Vitaliy Klychko, Head of the Kyiv City State Administration released a number of city officials who became involved in a corruption investigation in Kyiv.
“Regarding the latest high-profile news concerning, in particular, the land sector of the capital. The deputy head of the KMDA, Petro Olenych, the deputy head of the municipal enterprise (KP) “Kyivblagoustrii” Oleksiy Mushta, have been dismissed from their positions in the KMDA. The deputy director of the KP “Spetszhitlofond” Yury Leonov will be procedurally dismissed from tomorrow.” Klitschko noted.
The mayor also announced that Mykhailo Terentiev, deputy of the Kyiv City Council, head of the land commission, submitted a statement to resign from the position of director of the Engineering Center KP, and the faction of the UDAR party decided to recall him from the Kyiv City Council.
In addition, Ihor Dolynskyi, director of Kyiv Institute of Land Relations, Volodymyr Shariy, director of Spetszhitlofond, Viktor Pogrebny, director of Zhitloinvest Financial Company, and Valentina Sviatyna, deputy director of the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture, were dismissed.
In the near future, personnel decisions are also expected regarding the communal association “Kyivzelenbud”. The dismissals will concern the general director Yuriy Bakhmat, his first deputy Oleksiy Lukash and the deputy head of the capital investment department Oleksandr Hora.
“Inspections in various departments are ongoing, and these will not be the last layoffs for the sake of cleaning”Vitaliy Klitschko emphasized.
