Kupyansk remains under the full control of the Ukrainian military

The Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group on armored vehicles, which tried to break through to Kupyansk on November 13, was eliminated by the Ukrainian defense forces. By data General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Kupyansk remains under the full control of the Ukrainian military.
The information about the occupation of the settlement of Illinka by Russian troops and the presence of the enemy in Kupyansk is not true. Ukrainian soldiers stopped the advance of the enemy in the Kupyansk direction, destroying his armored vehicles and a significant part of the manpower. Illinka in the Donetsk region also remains under Ukrainian control, fighting continues on the outskirts, but Ukrainian units are firmly holding their positions.
Kupyansk remains a zone of active hostilities, where the enemy uses camouflage tactics, including dressing up in the uniform of the Armed Forces. On the left-bank part of the community, where more than a thousand residents live, the situation remains critical due to the lack of electricity, gas and water supply, as well as civil infrastructure – pharmacies, hospitals and communal services.
On the other hand, on the right bank, where about three thousand people remain, energy and utility services work, providing electricity and gas supply. Partial water supply is carried out through a reserve water supply, and in areas where this is not possible, water is delivered by communal services.
The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Sinegubov, confirmed that sweeps are ongoing in the territory of Kupyansk in order to identify the remains of Russian soldiers. He added that the situation in this direction remains tense, but the city is under the full control of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
