Lithuania announced the transfer of 4500 drones to Ukraine this week

Lithuania plans to transfer 4,500 drones to Ukraine this week. Their total value is 5 million euros, informs Minister of Defense of Lithuania Dovile Šakaliene.
“I am proud to announce that this week Lithuania is sending 4,500 drones worth 5 million euros to Ukraine,” – said Shakaliene.
The Lithuanian government has adopted a new, accelerated procedure for the transfer of military aid, which will significantly reduce the time required for registration and ensure the rapid delivery of support to Ukraine.
We will remind that at the end of 2024, Denmark, France and Lithuania allocated 150 million euros for Ukrainian armaments. These funds will be directed to the production of missiles, drones and artillery installations. Lithuania, for its part, has already announced the sending of the first tranche for the production of weapons in Ukraine.
In November 2024, it transferred a new batch of military aid to Ukraine with generators, spare parts for M113 armored personnel carriers, weapons and ammunition.
