The spokeswoman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Maria Zakharova, expressed sharp criticism regarding the reaction of the United Nations Organization to the death of Russian Lieutenant General Igor Kirilov and his aide. According to her, the reaction of the UN demonstrates the “bias and venality” of the organization.

The Russian side is outraged by the fact that the UN did not condemn the liquidation of General Kirillov, but instead called for restraint and avoidance of escalation of the conflict.
“I believe that this is a certificate of saleability” – said Zakharova.
This was a reaction to the words of the official representative of the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
“We call on all parties to exercise restraint and refrain from actions that could lead to further escalation of tensions”, – noted the diplomat.
We will remind that Lieutenant General Ihor Kyrylov died on December 17 as a result of an explosion near a residential building in Moscow. An explosive device was planted in a scooter, which led to the death of Kyrylov and his assistant. Moscow blamed the Ukrainian special services for this.
