Massive airstrike on Ukraine: Russia attacked with cruise missiles, Shaheds, and ballistic missiles

A number of regions were attacked at once with several types of weapons — cruise missiles from Tu-95MS aircraft, Kalibr missiles from the Black Sea, Iskander-M ballistic missiles, aeroballistic Daggers, and Shahed-type strike drones.
The main target of the Russian Federation traditionally remained critical infrastructure. In particular, Lviv and Lviv region reported attempts to hit such objects. According to the mayor Andrii Sadovoy, the infrastructure was hit, but there were no casualties. Lviv OVA confirmed the shelling by drones and missiles, the consequences are being investigated.
Objects in Poltava Oblast suffered serious damage. In the Kremenchuk district, a rocket hit one of the enterprises, which caused a large-scale fire. The situation is similar in Zaporizhzhia, where a production facility was damaged, according to preliminary information, with no casualties. On the other hand, at least three civilians were injured in Cherkasy region as a result of an enemy strike. Civil infrastructure objects were damaged, rescue services are working on the spot. The arrival of ballistic missiles was recorded in Mykolaiv, but there were no casualties.
Sirens and explosions sounded that night in Lviv, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, Poltava, Kremenchuk, Zaporizhzhia, Cherkasy, Mykolaiv and Dnipro. In general, the air alert lasted about ten hours, of which about three were during the immediate phase of the missile attack.
In addition, in Kharkiv on the evening of June 28, an enemy drone hit a residential building, causing a fire in a private house in the Kyiv district. At least one person was injured, rescuers and medics were working on the spot. This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleg Sinegubov
According to monitoring services, the attack was deliberately large-scale and lasted for hours. Russia once again demonstrated combined wave tactics, combining ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and kamikaze drones to overwhelm air defense systems. In many regions, the work of investigators, rescuers and emergency services continues.
Official data on the destruction and the number of victims are still being updated. Services urge residents not to ignore alarm signals and stay in shelters in the event of a threat.
