A new module called “My Technologies” will appear in the “Army+” application, which will allow military personnel to leave feedback on equipment or send requests for its modernization directly to the manufacturer. The purpose of launching the module is to simplify communication between the military and manufacturers, so that soldiers do not have to independently search for company contacts or contact support services. In addition, it will make it possible to track the number of incidents related to a specific manufacturer, the effectiveness of its response and promptness in solving problems. Such data will become the basis for decision-making in the Ministry of Defense regarding future purchases.
The mechanism of interaction will be simple: verified users of the “Army+” application will only need to enter the serial number of the equipment and leave a review. After that, the system will automatically determine the manufacturer, send a request to him and receive a response in accordance with the current service agreement.
“First of all, we will launch it with manufacturers who have entered into an agreement with the Ministry of Defense. Because we have influence on them, an agreement on maintenance, corrections. And then we will see. As you know, soon there will be a decentralized procurement model, when the brigade will be able to directly buy certain items from manufacturers. And if the brigades turn to The Ministry of Defense with a request to add manufacturers with whom they have direct contracts, we will do it”, — Chernogorenko explained.
All recorded incidents will be forwarded to the General Staff, which will make decisions on further purchases, as well as to the Ministry of Defense, which will conclude the relevant contracts. It is also emphasized that the communication between the serviceman and the manufacturer will be protected. The response to the request will be sent directly to the secure messenger, which will avoid the creation of publicly available lists of equipment and its manufacturers.
