More than 2 thousand. The Russians poisoned the Ukrainian military with chemicals, three died

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, more than 2,000 Ukrainian soldiers have been hospitalized due to poisoning by chemicals used by Russian forces. Unfortunately, three defenders of Ukraine died. About this reported Artem Vlasyuk, Head of the Department of Environmental Safety and Civil Protection of the Department of Radiation, Chemical, Biological Protection of the Support Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Just since the beginning of the full-scale invasion with symptoms of poisoning, more than 2 thousand military personnel with various degrees of poisoning by unknown or known chemical substances were sent to medical institutions of both military use and the general medical infrastructure of Ukraine. Including poisonous substances with an irritating effect – CS and CN, used in anti-riot munitions” he noted.
Unfortunately, three deaths among military personnel have been recorded so far. For security reasons, the official did not disclose the names of the dead or their units.
Vlasyuk also added that Russian forces use dangerous chemical substances mostly in areas with the greatest concentration of efforts, concealing these actions with intense fire impact, which makes it difficult to detect and take samples for further analysis.
