Musk Admitted His Involvement in the Government Department of DOGE Makes It Difficult to Run Businesses

Elon Musk has admitted that his involvement in the DOGE government department makes it difficult to manage businesses like X, Tesla, SpaceX and others. According to Musk, it is difficult for him to maintain a balance between projects, informs TechCrunch.

Currently, DOGE has about 100 employees, but Musk plans to expand the staff to 200. At the same time, the department has been accused of exaggerating claims to cut costs for US government agencies.

Experts point out that DOGE provides inaccurate information, distorting facts about cost savings and terminated contracts. In addition, the department has been criticized for security breaches, with some employees accessing sensitive data from government agencies through unsecured channels.

While Musk complains about being overburdened by working at DOGE, he has also been criticized for using the initiative to deregulate his businesses. In particular, the DOGE reduced the number of employees at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

In addition, employees of the Federal Aviation Administration, which had grievances against SpaceX, were laid off, and the department pushed for significant staff cuts at the Securities and Exchange Commission, where Musk has a longstanding feud. He confirmed that he will remain at DOGE for another year, stressing the importance of real action rather than just writing reports.
