American billionaire Elon Musk said that, despite disagreements with the politics of Ukraine, he will never turn off the Starlink network for the Ukrainian military. That’s what he’s about wrote in his social network X (Twitter).
He emphasized that without Starlink, the Ukrainian communication system would be destroyed, as the Russians are capable of jamming all other communications.
“To be extremely clear, no matter how much I disagree with Ukraine’s politics, Starlink will never shut down its terminals. We would never do that and use it as a bargaining chip.”, – noted Musk.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed that “no one threatened to disconnect Ukraine from Starlink”:
“No one threatened to disconnect Ukraine from Starlink. And say thank you, because without Starlink, Ukraine would have lost this war a long time ago, and the Russians would now be on the border with Poland.”
