Not all Ukrainians will receive ‘Zelensky’s thousand’: what is known

From December 1, Ukrainians will be able to receive financial assistance in the amount of 1,000 hryvnias under the new “eSupport” program. Payments will be available only to citizens who are in Ukraine — refugees abroad will not be able to receive these funds, as the recipient’s location will be checked before enrollment. About this writes “RBK – Ukraine”.

According to government estimates, about 15 million citizens will join the program, building on the experience of previous support programs during the COVID-19 pandemic. Legal approval of the program is planned to be completed by the middle of November, so that Ukrainians have time to issue “National Cashback” cards before the start of payments.

According to Deputy Minister of Economy Oleksiy Sobolev, payments will be made to the virtual card of “National Cashback”, which can be opened through the “Action” application. President Volodymyr Zelenskyi previously announced the program, noting that the payments will help support Ukrainians from December.

It should be noted that the “Buy Ukrainian” initiative, which also uses the “National Cashback” card, works in parallel. Under this program, Ukrainians can receive cashback of up to 3,000 hryvnias for purchases of Ukrainian-made goods.
