This day is celebrated every year on October 9 since 2000. This date was established in 1999 at the first All-Ukrainian congress of realtors, when the professional community decided to create its own professional holiday to emphasize the importance of their work. The idea to celebrate the Realtor’s Day appeared during the first All-Ukrainian congress of realtors in 1999. Then real estate professionals decided to join forces to create a national association that would promote the development of standards and work ethics in the real estate market.
