The Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, ordered to strengthen the Pokrovsky and Kurakhiv directions of the Donetsk region with additional reserves and equipment. This is what he is about reported after visiting advanced positions in Donetsk region.
Syrsky noted that the purpose of his visit was personal communication with commanders who are conducting combat operations, to resolve urgent issues and provide comprehensive assistance.
“According to the results of the work, all necessary decisions have been made to strengthen the units with reserves, additional ammunition, weapons and military equipment”, he informed.
The Commander-in-Chief emphasized that Ukrainian soldiers, thanks to their stability and courage, continue to effectively restrain the advance of Russian troops in the Pokrovsky and Kurakhiv directions.
“We continue to restrain the enemy and inflict heavy losses on him in terms of manpower and equipment. I am grateful to our soldiers for their steadfastness and bravery in the fight against the Russian aggressor.”, – emphasized the general.
