On the first day of his administration, Trump plans to sign a “record” number of executive orders

US President-elect Donald Trump has announced that he intends to sign a “record” number of executive orders immediately after taking office. During the first week of his presidency, among the main issues will be the implementation of large-scale deportations and a visit to Los Angeles, which has been affected by large-scale wildfires. About this informs DW.
“We have a record number of documents that I will sign immediately after the inaugural address.” – said Trump.
According to him, the main topics of his speech will be “unity, strength and justice”. This year’s inauguration ceremony will be held inside the Capitol building for the first time since 1985. Trump explained this decision with unfavorable weather forecasts, which promise cold and strong winds.
Trump emphasized that the issue of deporting illegal immigrants is one of his top priorities. Although he did not specify when and where exactly these measures will begin, he noted that it will happen “very quickly.”
“We have to get criminals out of our country. And I think you’ll agree with that. I don’t know how anyone could disagree with thatTrump added.
