Over two thousand Polish companies are ready to participate in the reconstruction of Ukraine: Andrzej Duda

Polish business shows a large-scale interest in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. This was stated by the President of Poland Andrzej Duda during a joint briefing with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi in Kyiv, which was held on the occasion of the Constitution Day of Ukraine.

According to the Polish leader, to date more than 2,000 companies from Poland have officially announced their readiness to join the process of rebuilding the Ukrainian infrastructure and economy, which suffered large-scale destruction as a result of the war.

“More than two thousand Polish companies have expressed interest in participating in the reconstruction of Ukraine. I sincerely hope that they will really actively participate in this process. This is my big dream — to see Poland among the countries that not only support Ukraine, but also directly participate in its restoration.” Andrzej Duda emphasized.

During the meeting, the presidents separately focused on the issue of cooperation in the field of the military-industrial complex. According to Duda, Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on Polish companies not to limit themselves to participation in post-war contracts, but to expand cooperation in strategic sectors, in particular, in defense technologies.

Special emphasis was placed on the production of drones, which is rapidly gaining momentum in Ukraine. Andrzej Duda emphasized that Poland sees this as a promising direction for cooperation, because the Ukrainian military industry is developing extremely dynamically today.

“There is great potential for joint work in various sectors, primarily in the field of unmanned technologies. We see how quickly the Ukrainian defense industry is growing, and we want to be its partners.” – noted the President of Poland.
