Parliament supported the bill on the creation of a Unified State Register of Military Personnel
The Verkhovna Rada adopted a draft law on the creation of the Unified State Register of Servicemen, which became an important step in the direction of a modern accounting system. About this reported Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umyerov.
The new register is a digital base that will allow faster and more accurate recording of personnel data, automatically form analytics on the reserve, and also reduce the number of bureaucratic procedures and the impact of the human factor.
“The key innovation is Military ID, a digital identifier that will allow data exchange between registries without disclosing personal information,” Umerov explained.
On the basis of this system, in the future, the military will be able to receive social services, benefits and bonuses online, including through the “Army+” application.
“The register will work exclusively in Ukraine. The data is under the control of the Cyber Incident Response Center. A minimum of personal information. Without saving data about rank, specialty or combat tasks. This is about convenience, security and fair service for everyone who serves”, – emphasized Umyerov.
