People’s Deputy Yuriy Boyko is being interrogated by the SBU

People’s deputy Yuriy Boyko, who previously led the banned OPZZ party, and now heads the “Platform for Life and Peace”, appeared for questioning at the Security Service of Ukraine.

About this are reported sources in the SBU.

“The head of the banned OPZZ, Yuriy Boyko, did not have time to record his sensational video, as he has already arrived at the SBU“, the message says.

It will be recalled that the video of Yuriy Boyko on the TikTok social network caused a wave of indignation among Ukrainians. In his statement, he claimed that support for his political power is growing due to the alleged sympathy of those who “suffer” from “radicals” in Ukraine. Boyko also announced “a ban on communicating in one’s native language.”

Against this background, a group of people’s deputies took the initiative to recall Yuriy Boyk, the chairman of the deputy group “Platform for Life and Peace”, from the position of a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Human Rights, Deoccupation and Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories.

His statements also caused a negative reaction from the Office of the President.

“Some politicians forget that protecting Ukraine and defeating Russia, not spreading Russian narratives, is the key goal now.” — noted the head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak.
